Tumbling Meet

Reagyn had a tumbling meet in Idalou today.  She was super excited.  She didn't seem nervous, but I was!  Events this week have not provided much time for practicing her passes.  I was really worried about her handsprings.  But why did I worry?!?  She landed everything perfectly!!
This video is her 1st pass.
Pics from her 2nd pass

She got a Gold medal!  I am so proud of her!!! :)

Little Leopard Camp

Little Leopard Camp was last week.  Reagyn stayed after school 3 days to learn some cheers and a dance.  They got to perform in the pep rally as well as at half time of the game.  They all did so good!

Brrr...it was soo cold!  But Reagyn did the routine anyways just bundled up this time.  Check out the video.  You can hear the wind blowing.  But I don't think she felt it!

Ruidoso Trip

We had a Monday off this month so we decided to go somewhere.  We actually gave the kids a choice...Six Flags or Ruidoso.  They picked Ruidoso!!!!! (Boy were we relieved!)

We went to the Cowboy Symposium when we got there.  There wasn't much to see but Boo was happy....she got to ride a horse!  They also got cream sodas in take home mugs.
We saw a blacksmith and a mountain man that was staying in this teepee!
Our cabin was really nice!  Here the kids are in the chairs on the front porch.
I made them pose for me so I could get the mountains in the background. :)

We even had our own hot tub!
Reagyn kept saying all she wanted to do was drink hot chocolate in the mountains.  Check :)
There was a loft with 2 twin mattresses that the kids slept in.  There was a ladder going up to it.  They thought that was super cool
The kids wanted to hike.  Most of the Lincoln National Forest was closed due to the government shutdown but we did manage to find a fitness trail to walk on.  Karson said wasn't REAL hiking because there was a paved road to walk on.  Oh well...we had a nice walk anyways.

We went to drive go carts

 and played miniature golf too.

Lanny drove us up to a lookout point on the mountain.  Well, we didn't make it all the way...the lookout was also closed due to the government shutdown.  We got to go almost all the way, but not quite.  The view was pretty to see from so high.  I got some really good pics too.

We had a fun and relaxing time.  They informed me that next time we will be going to Six Flags! :)

Homecoming

Homecoming week was busy as usual.  One day was Twin Day.  Miss Presley asked me to dress like her.  She actually wrote a note that said circle yes or no.  So cute!  I couldn't say no.  We looked pretty cute that day!!

On Friday the kids wore their red and black.  Reagyn pulled our her mum that her Daddy bought her last year.   She had a little boy ask her to homecoming.  She quickly told him no thanks!!
Karson asked Kamryn to go with him.  He bought her a mum and everything.  They are cute together.  They don't really talk in person, but they do text on their phones.
Here is the 6th grade float...Lock Up the Lopes.  The 3rd grade float was too far from mine to get a pic, but their theme was Lego the Lopes.  They were dressed as Legos.
I got a few pics of us at the game that night.

Homecoming is always fun but I'm glad we have that week behind us for another year!

Abilene Stock Show

We went to the Abilene fair and took Karson's steer.  (We tried to take Reagyn's as well but he was too little.) This was a good practice run for Karson and the steer.  J'Den got to go with us, so the boys had lots of fun when they weren't working.  We ended up with a 4th place out of 8.

Junior High Football

There weren't enough 7th & 8th graders to make a football team this year, so they pulled the 6th graders up to play.  Karson was pumped!!  Even better...he is the only 6th grader that gets to start!  His daddy is really proud - he started as a 6th grader too!  Karson is number 35 and plays nose guard, line backer and end.  He does so well.  One game he had 7 tackles and he recovered a fumble!!  And he's loving every minute :)

Flag Football

Reagyn decided to play flag football with the boys this year.  She wasn't the only one!  These 4 are pretty good football players!!

It's always fun watching her play.  She excels at anything she tries!

Introducing Zoey Reese

After months of waiting, it is finally time for Zoey to arrive!  Camryn got to stay with me the night before.  We got there in time to see Momma and push her wheelchair before surgery.

 Then we waited some more...
 Here she is!!
 Sweet big sis :)
