Everything Changes

God always has a plan.  We don't always understand it or even know what the plan is, but He has one.  He has definitely made his plan clear to us lately.  Everything has fallen into place.  The kids and I moved to Hico, TX to start school in August.  Here's how it all went down:

Lanny and I went to look at houses to get an idea of what we might be looking at in January.  Little did we know God had pushed up our time table.  We looked at the school and fell in love with it.  The next day I received a phone call requesting my presence back in Hico for an elementary teacher interview!!  I interviewed and received a job offer before I even left the parking lot!  Wow God was speaking loud and clear. :)

I moved to Hico to begin teacher inservice.   I lived in our travel trailer for 2 weeks in a RV park just outside of Stephenville.  Luckily I soon discovered a place right behind the elementary in Hico.  The kids could walk home from school!  We lived in the travel trailer for 2 looonnnggg months.  Our water heater (among other things) gave out and I felt like God was telling me something.  It was time for a rent house.  Found a house that weekend and moved in that Monday.  The landlord was very willing to work with my short time table.  The house was small but felt like a mansion compared to the travel trailer.  We lived there for 3 months. 

Finally the Lord blessed us with an AMAZING house and a few acres to go with it.  Everything fell into place with it and the selling of the old house as well. His hand has been ALL OVER this entire life change.  We are excited to begin our new lives here in Hico.
