Nana gave us family trip money for Christmas. We decided to go to the Texas Bowl to watch Texas Tech play LSU. It was fun! Houston is only 4 hours from us now (weird!). We drove down the day of the game. I made everyone go to the outlet mall for a bit of shopping. Yikes! I think we were the only ones besides the cashiers that spoke English! We found a few good deals and were outta there within an hour. Lots of griping, but we all survived.
Our tickets were on the LSU side and a few Tech fans were sprinkled in with us. The first half was a blast and Tech hung in with them. The second half got away from us. We didn't win, but it was a fun family trip. We spent the night after the game and drove on back...after a stop at Buc-ee's!! Thanks Nana for helping us make good memories!
