Well...I turned 40 last week. For some reason this birthday seems way older than the rest! 40 sounds so old!!! It was a regular Wednesday...kids to work and camp and then to youth. Lanny surprised me at youth with a Neiman Marcus cake and candles. He's such a sweetie! And I got to celebrate all week.
He and the kids gave me tickets to the Medieval Times Castle in Dallas. They took me on Friday in the pouring rain! It was a fun time.

They served a yummy meal...we had to eat with our hands!
We had a knight that our section cheered for. Ours was the black and white knight. Everytime he won a challenge, he got flowers from the Princess. Then he'd come to our section and throw them. He threw one to Boo and she was so excited!
Birthday Week continued on Sunday. We went to Mom's before heading on our Colorado trip. She invited the crew for a birthday supper. She got Raisin Cane's chicken and LOTS of sauce!!! My fav!!!! We also managed to get some pics. Pretty good lookin group if you ask me!
